As the basketball season flies by successfully with a record of 6-1 for our seventh graders, our Chilton team made it to the championship against Granite Oaks Middle School. The eighth graders fought hard for a spot in the playoffs, but sadly didn’t make it in a record of 4-3 despite their amazing efforts. Last night on December 7, our Bobcats had a heart racing game against the Granite Oaks Falcons. Zach Seymore made three breath taking three-pointers and Nick Primavera, Nico Nielsen, and Donovan Johnson made several great assists throughout the game. In the last quarter, our Bobcats strived with everything they’ve got to get points on the board before the time ran out. It all came down to the last minute with a score of 48-51. Our team raced to the hoop in hopes of shooting a three-pointer to tie up the game, but in the end the Falcons retrieved the ball and made a shot, leaving the final score 48-53. Although our Bobcats didn’t take home the win, each and every single one of them on our team are true winners in our hearts. Our 2017 Chilton basketball team had a stunning season and will go down in Chilton’s history.
